The Lost Gift

Suppose a woman goes shopping for Christmas presents for her family and when she gets home she finds that she has lost one. Won’t she retrace her steps back shops and call in at every place she has been that day until she finds it?

And when she finds it, she will call in on the other shops to let them know, ‘Don’t worry, all is well, thanks for your concern but you can relax and be happy for me because I have found my lost gift.’
